Introduction
The IKI VPN service is provided "as is". This Policy informs users about what information is collected, how it is used, and under what circumstances it may be disclosed. By using the IKI VPN application you agree to the terms of this Policy and to the processing of data in accordance with it.
IKI VPN is a VPN client that allows the user to connect to their own servers, or to servers specified by the user, using the VLESS, Trojan and Shadowsocks protocols. The application is decentralized: the IKI VPN developers do not operate the servers the user connects to and have no access to the traffic passing through them.
VPN Data
— The IKI VPN application does NOT collect, does NOT store and does NOT transmit the user's network traffic.
— The content of the connection is not altered or modified.
— The user's confidential data is not shared with third parties.
— IKI VPN is a decentralized application: the user connects to their own servers or to servers specified via a subscription. Management of those servers and of the data stored on them is outside the responsibility of the application developer.
— The user has full control over their VPN data, servers and subscriptions.
All data required for the tunnel to operate (server address, identifiers, keys, transport parameters) is stored locally on the user's device inside the application's protected container and is not sent to the developer's servers.
Data Collection
IKI VPN does not collect individually identifiable information about the user. The application does not request your name, e-mail address, phone number, geolocation or any other personal data.
By default, the application also sends a unique device identifier (HWID) and the phone model in HTTP headers when accessing the subscription URL (for example, to retrieve the server list). This data is used as a custom user identifier so that the subscription works correctly and connection-management features are supported.
This data is used solely to match the device with the user's subscription on the side of the user's own subscription provider and is not shared with the IKI VPN developers.
Local Permissions
Camera. Camera access is used only for scanning QR codes containing a server configuration or a subscription link. The camera image is not saved, not transmitted and never leaves the device.
Clipboard. The clipboard content is read only at the moment the user taps the "Paste subscription" button and is used exclusively to import data into the application's local storage.
Network Extension. Used by iOS to build the VPN tunnel. The extension runs in an isolated environment and only has access to the configuration specified by the user.
Advertising Networks
IKI VPN contains no advertising modules and uses no advertising networks.
Analytics
IKI VPN does not use third-party analytics services and does not send any telemetry about the user's actions in the application.
Children's Privacy
IKI VPN does not collect personal information from users of any age, including children under 13. If you become aware that a minor has provided any data whose processing may conflict with the laws of your country, please contact the administrator of the subscription server the application connects to.
Links to Third-Party Sites
The servers and subscriptions the user connects to through IKI VPN are operated by third parties and have their own privacy policies. The IKI VPN developer is not responsible for the content, security or policies of external resources.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated. All changes are published in the application and/or on the official IKI VPN page and take effect upon publication. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated version of the Policy.
